Care2Design.com will provide a full written quotation, free of charge, to include a full breakdown of costs and services. Quotations will include an approximate timescale for development. All quotations will be valid for 14 days from the date shown on the quotation.
Website Design
Upon acceptance of the quotation by the client, Care2Design.com will send an invoice for 50% of the final total. This must be paid within 7 days, after which time Care2Design.com will acknowledge receipt of the payment and provide a commencement date. Upon receipt of the first payment, Care2Design.com will then develop the client's website to the required specifications as set out by the client. When the website is completed, an invoice will be sent out for the remainder of the payment. Care2Design.com reserves the right to not release any files until payment has been received in full. The completion date will be the date that the website will be posted onto the client's hosting url.
Supplying Information
The client is responsible for producing all textual information in either text (.txt) or Microsoft Word (.doc) format. The client will supply any images, photographs or logo's in either .gif, .png or .jpg format. Images are not to exceed 4MB in file size. If any media is over 4Mb in file size, Care2Design.com may request the client transfer all files to CDR media for postal delivery.
Maintenance/Updates
If requested Care2Design.com undertakes to maintain/update websites at regular periods as agreed with the client. This is subject to additional fees and is not included in the original quotation.
Copyright
The copyright for all material provided by the client, such as graphics, photographs, logos and text, would remain with the client. The client will give Care2Design.com the right to publish and use this material for the purpose of website construction. The copyright for all material provided by Care2Design.com, such as graphics, photographs and text, will remain the property of Care2Design.com until such time as payment has been made in full. Care2Design.com will grant the client permission to use this material pending payment. Upon receipt of payment, Care2Design.com will transfer copyright to the client.
Clients must obtain permission from Care2Design.com to use any material, which is copyright of a third party. The client will agree to indemnify and hold harmless Care2Design.com from all claims resulting from the client's negligence or failure to obtain permission to use such copyright material.
Payment Terms/Default
Accounts remaining unpaid after 14 days from the date of the invoice will be deemed to be in default until such time as full payment is received. Care2Design.com will at its discretion, disable or remove websites and other files for any client in default of payment.
Cheque's returned unpaid due to insufficient funds will incur a service charge of $25. If an account remains unpaid after 14 days of the date of the invoice, then Care2Design.com will commence legal proceedings to recover the debt. The client will be held liable to all costs incurred by Care2Design.com in recovering the debt.
Termination
If for any reason (except breach of laws of the Province
of British Columbia, Canada by the website owner) Care2Design.com have to terminate a service such as hosting, we will give 7 days notice of our intention to terminate the account. We will provide the client with a full (offline) copy of the website, and attempt to arrange hosting or other services elsewhere on the clients behalf.
Legal Restrictions
Care2Design.com reserves the right to refuse to maintain, or service any website being used in violation of laws of the Province
of British Columbia, Canada.
